Dr Gérard Grobler is a dedicated urologist practising at Bay Urology in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), South Africa.

Education and Training

He earned his medical degree from the University of the Free State and completed his specialist training in Urology at Tygerberg Hospital and Stellenbosch University. In 2023, he qualified as a Fellow of the College of Urologists of South Africa (FC Urol SA) and achieved his Master of Medicine (MMed) in Urology in 2024.

Professional Practice

Upon returning to the Eastern Cape, Dr Grobler established a thriving private practice while also holding a sessional position in the Department of Urology at Livingstone Tertiary Hospital. Through his work in both public and private sectors, he addresses a wide range of urological conditions. He has acquired significant expertise in treating benign prostatic enlargement, urinary stone disease, urological cancers, male infertility, and urological emergencies.
